Gerlan is a charming little cottage full of character with a quiet romantic atmosphere set in a small row of three cottages in the village of Aberbanc. Just a few steps away there is a detached walled garden overlooking a stream with a purpose built covered porch where you can sit and relax with a drink and watch the wildlife or have a yummy BBQ.
The lounge has exposed stone walls giving it a homely old fashioned feel as if you have been transported back in time to the mid 1800s when it was built. There is a large wood burner in the fire place with logs and a starter pack provided (You can buy a small bag of sticks and logs from the local CK's supermarket in Llandysul and Newcastle Emlyn.. There are new utensils, crockery and cooking pans provided in the cupboards, dining table and chairs. There is a small cupboard at the top of the stairs where you can hang clothes. All bedding is provided and you will arrive to freshly made up beds. No need to wash the linen as we will do this.
There is off-road parking in front of the cottage but please be aware that the house is on a bend in the road which is not busy but children need to be supervised etc. It is not adapted for disabled access as there are a few steps to negotiate into the cottage and also down to the garden which is not fenced along the river side of the bank - so please do not climb down the banks as they are not safe.
